OK here we go. Mandarin Orange CRE8 infusions Slow and Fast.

I took 15 Mandarin Oranges, zested all of them and put that into a mason jar with CRE8 at 90% and left that for a couple days (SLOW).
I pealed all the oranges and juiced them and then added that juice to another bottle of CRE8 so that it finished up at 35-40% alcohol (FAST)
The colour is amazing! After a couple days of zest infusion I strained the zest out and added the vodka back to the bottle; I then finished the SLOW version out with water and several ounces of simple syrup to taste. Both are great! One will match your specific taste and timing needs too!
So in terms of smell, you get waaaay more pleasing smell from the zest (SLOW) than you do from the juiced oranges (FAST) – I’d highly recommend combining the two for both taste and colour!
