CRE8 Cocktail by Jess Morton
Gristmill Lane is one of Canada’s most iconic streets. It forms part of Toronto’s Distillery District, an internationally acclaimed village of brick-paved streets and Victorian-era buildings that have inspired some of Canada’s best bartenders, like Jess, to pursue the craft of mixology. Much like the cosmopolitan underpinnings of the community itself, this cocktail she invented with CRE8 Eco Vodka marries together a blend of citrusy flavours with the sweet fruit tones of Arabashiri Junmai Sake (a Japanese style rice wine) and is topped with soda. The end result is a drink so refreshing and light that you may end up making two.
- 1oz of Green Apple, Ginger, and Lime Zest Vodka CRE8 Infusion
- 1oz of Junmai Sake (preferably Arabashiri)
- Tall glass
- Lime Zest
Build in a tall glass with ice, and top with soda.
Garnish with lime zest.
Stay tuned for the next post, where I’ll show my next infusion!
